It is the goal of the Singapore Students' Association (SSA) at the University of Wisconsin Madison to provide a support that Singaporean students at UW, be they the innocent incoming freshman, or the jaded senior, can lean on. The SSA also hopes to promote the culture of Singapore in the sleepy little university town of Madison through various educational and cultural activites (when there are no parties running of course).
1. To develop unity and camaraderie among members through educational, cultural, social, and recreational activities.

To facilitate a smooth transition for incoming or transfer students from Singapore
to the lifestyle at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and other
Singapore student organizations in the United States of America and
throughout the world.

To promote friendship and
cooperation between members and the student body at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison as a leading educational institution in Singapore.
